• Elizabeth Shevelchinsky

    Ballet teacher (3-6 y.o)

    Elizabeth Shevelchinsky is a dancer, teacher and choreographer. 

    In 2020 she graduated from Westchester community college with an associate degree in Performing Arts, where she studied different dance disciplines and acting, alongside an internship teaching ballet, jazz and modern dance to younger kids. Elizabeth moved to Russia for 4 years and graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Culture in the Department of Folk Dance in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Choreographic Art.

    During her stay in Russia, Elizabeth participated in various events, including choreographer’s competitions, performed in music videos and commercials. Elizabeth has also worked with Show Ballets of Armenian Dance Artsakh and Zartonk, and the Azerbaijanian ensemble Qarabax. While she was studying Elizabeth taught both children and adults at EasyUp studio. She also choreographed performances for the Children's Center "Star" and staged multiple dance numbers for their school play.

Yukiko Matsubara

Guest teacher and co organizer for the Spring Ballet Camp.

Yukiko Matsubara, originally from Japan and currently based in New York, began her dance training at the age of 10 under Asako Ueno. She earned a BA in English Literature from Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo before moving to New York to participate in the International Program at Steps on Broadway, where she studied with Emilietta Ettlin and Alexander Filipov. Yukiko later became an assistant to Emilietta Ettlin. She is an experienced dancer who loves teaching in both English and Japanese. For four years, Yukiko taught and assisted director Anne Easterling at the Ballet Club in NYC. She also offers ballet classes, seasonal camps, and intensive programs for the Japanese community in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
